COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVG) — Governor Mike DeWine is backing a proposal to allocate $10 million for security details for candidates running for governor in Ohio. The bill, Senate Bill 308, aims to provide protection for candidates following recent security incidents, including an arrest of a bodyguard for a gubernatorial candidate on drug trafficking charges.
