Vince Gill Talks ’50 Years From Home,’ Friends & Collaborations
Vince Gill’s recent EP, Brown’s Diner Bar, pays tribute to a historic Nashville bar frequented by music legends John Prine and Hal Ketchum. Gill’s 50 Years From Home project features new music and revisits hits from his extensive career. Collaborating with young artists on the EP, Gill showcases his songwriting skills. The EP concludes with Gill’s 1990 hit “When I Call Your Name,” a classic waltz that holds sentimental value for the artist. Gill’s creative journey reflects his dedication to music as he continues to explore new avenues in his career. Vince Gill plans to release future EPs with diverse styles, including collaborations with other artists like Lainey Wilson and Marty Stuart. He recently received the CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award and signed a lifetime contract with MCA. Gill remains grateful for his numerous musical relationships and is excited about his upcoming summer tour.
