Trump presence in Iowa will ‘absolutely’ boost GOP in midterms, Feenstra says
Des Moines, Iowa (Fox News) — President Donald Trump plans to campaign in Iowa ahead of the 2026 midterm elections, with a rally-style speech in Clive. Republican gubernatorial candidate Rep. Randy Feenstra expects Trump’s visits to benefit Republicans.

Meanwhile, Democrats portray Trump as divisive, but Feenstra believes Trump’s engagement will help Republicans. Trump’s policies, such as lowering prices on gas and healthcare, aim to resonate with voters.
Other House Republicans, including Reps. Zach Nunn and Ashley Hinson, joined Trump in Iowa. They visited the Machine Shed restaurant to meet with voters before the rally.
