CITY, State (Fox News) — Iranian media claims the drone shot down by the U.S. military over the Arabian Sea was conducting a surveillance mission in international waters.

## Iranian Drone Shot Down
The Tasnim News Agency reports that the Iranian drone successfully transmitted reconnaissance photos before losing communication during a routine mission over international waters.

## USS Abraham Lincoln Incident
The U.S. military shot down the drone as it approached the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier in the Arabian Sea, about 500 miles from Iran’s southern coast.

## No Injuries Reported
No U.S. service members were injured, and no equipment was damaged during the incident. The USS Abraham Lincoln is in the Middle East following President Trump’s announcement of sending a massive armada to Iran.

## Harassment in the Strait of Hormuz
In a separate incident, IRGC forces harassed a U.S.-flagged, U.S.-crewed merchant vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.
