Northwest Ohio Developmental Center employee indicted for alleged patient abuse

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTOL) — Charles Aikpaojie, a caretaker at the Northwest Ohio Developmental Center, is facing felony charges of assault and patient abuse following an alleged incident that occurred in December 2025. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
