WASHINGTON, D.C. (WTOL) — Figure skating, a staple of the Winter Olympics, actually made its Olympic debut in the 1908 Summer Games in London, making it the first winter sport to be included. Since then, figure skating has been a consistent part of every Winter Games, alongside five other sports.
