Senator Lindsay Graham died on Saturday, a spokeswoman for the South Carolina Republican confirmed to MS NOW. Graham had just returned from a trip to Ukraine.
The spokeswoman gave no additional information on the circumstances on his passing.
“Senator Graham’s family appreciates prayers at this time and asks for privacy during this incredibly difficult period,” said a statement posted to Graham’s social media account.
