Lucas County makes plans for jail fix and assessment

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) — Lucas County commissioners have approved a $1.4 million contract to start fixing the jail, beginning with the roof. A consultant will assess the facility to determine the work needed to extend its lifespan by about twenty years.
