Springfield Schools Board of Education approves levy for May ballot

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WTVG) — The Springfield Schools Board of Education approved a 3.9 mills levy for the May 5 ballot, aiming to cover operating costs due to a $1.5 million cut in state funding. If passed, homeowners could expect to pay around $137 per year for every $100,000 of home value.
