Dry Socket announce new album Self Defense Techniques
(Alternative Press)
Dry Socket has unveiled details about their upcoming album, Self Defense Techniques, set to be released on March 27 through Get Better Records. The album will feature the band’s latest single, “Rigged Survival,” a powerful track that delves into the struggles of navigating an exploitative system and the pressures of living in a capitalist society.
Lead vocalist Dani Allen shares, “‘Rigged Survival’ captures the overwhelming reality of being priced out of our own existence. It reflects the daily battle of existing in a world where our worth is measured by our productivity and compliance. The song highlights the crushing realization that life should offer more than just a cycle of exhausting work and the constant fear of financial ruin.”
Dry Socket will be embarking on a European tour this spring in support of their new album. Fans can check out the tracklist for Self Defense Techniques below, along with the band’s upcoming tour dates for 2026.
