The hospital, closed since August 2024, holds sentimental value for locals like Ron Daniels, who credits it with saving his life during a past heart attack. The new owners, Columbus Hicksville Healthcare, could bring much-needed healthcare services back to the area if the deal finalizes in mid-February.
