COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Ohio State has appointed Arthur Smith as offensive coordinator, a move that brings extensive NFL experience to the coaching staff under Ryan Day’s leadership. Smith, previously with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Atlanta Falcons, is expected to enhance the team’s offensive capabilities and player development. He replaces Brian Hartline, who departed for a head coaching position at South Florida.
