Buffalo Traffic Jam’s debut album “Pictures of You” was inspired by a moment of looking at old photos after Frankie Cassidy’s grandmother passed away. The folk-rock duo, formed in 2024 at Montana State University, has seen success with hits like “Fool’s Gold.” Their new album features a more diverse sound and was produced by five different producers, including Carrie K and Joe Becker. The duo wrote much of the album while on the road, learning the ropes of touring themselves before launching their first headlining tour this year. Upcoming indie rock band engineers setlist for experimentation while fine-tuning new album. Despite busy tour schedule, they proudly represent Bozeman’s growing music community. Sam Barber and Joe Becker collaborate closely in the small, connected music scene.
