Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato Reunite for Rare Beauty
Delena is back — and millennial hearts everywhere just skipped a beat.
Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato have reunited for Rare Beauty’s new campaign, “Still Making Each Other Blush,” launched Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2026. The campaign recreates the pair’s homemade 2008 YouTube vlogs — “YO YO YO… 18 years later, Delena is back with a vlog” — and their 2009 Disney Channel movie Princess Protection Program, with Gomez in a turquoise gown echoing Carter and Lovato in a marigold gown echoing Princess Rosalinda, both in tiaras.
The launch centers on the limited-edition Delena Soft Pinch Blush Bundle ($50), pairing each star’s favorite shade — Hope, a nude mauve, for Gomez, and Virtue, a beige peach, for Lovato — plus a Soft Pinch Blush Brush.
The reunion is a full-circle moment for a friendship that began when the two met while auditioning for Barney & Friends in 2002, before becoming Disney Channel stars — Gomez on Wizards of Waverly Place, Lovato on Camp Rock and Sonny With a Chance. Lovato called the campaign a “full-circle moment”; Gomez said it was “a beautiful reminder of that history.”
Fans flooded the comments, with many declaring “the world has healed a little today!” See more from Rare Beauty on Instagram: Rare Beauty on Instagram.
