Football Earns Team-Record 3.384 GPA in Spring Semester
TOLEDO, Ohio – University of Toledo football student-athletes earned a school-record grade-point average of 3.384 in the 2026 spring semester.
A total of 84 out of 102 Rockets (82 percent) earned at least a 3.0 GPA, while 55 of those student-athletes (54 percent) were named to the Dean’s List with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
Nine Rockets made the President’s List with perfect 4.0 GPAs last fall: Rico Bond, Michael Drennen, Emilio Duran, Damon Ollison, Anthony Ruggles, Ethan Spoth, Connor Walendzak, Grant Zimmerly and Andrew Zock.
The Toledo football program enjoyed one of its finest years in the classroom in 2025-26, with record-setting GPAs in the fall and spring. The Rockets placed a school-record 23 players on the 2025 Academic All-Mid-American Conference team and a school-record eight players on the 2025 Academic All-District Team.
Toledo’s most recent Graduation Success Rate (96 percent) is No. 1 in the MAC, and the Rockets APR score of 982 is second in the conference.
