Ohio metal fans get two chances to catch the same heavy bill this week: Nine Treasures joins Mushroomhead and Fear Factory on “The Soul of a New War Machine Tour.”
The tour hits The King of Clubs in Columbus on Friday, Oct. 30, then the Agora Theater in Cleveland on Halloween night, Saturday, Oct. 31.
Nine Treasures, a Chinese Mongolian folk-metal band formed in 2010, blends traditional Mongolian instrumentation — including morin khuur (horsehead fiddle) and throat singing — with heavy metal, touring behind the album “Seeking the Absolute.”
