Over the weekend, My Chemical Romance surprised fans with a mysterious teaser video featuring the word “PHANTOM” in green flashing text. The video, which had no sound, left fans speculating about what could be coming next from the band, with possibilities ranging from a remastering of their debut album to new merch or even a new album.

This teaser comes just before the band’s first performance of 2026 on The Black Parade Tour, which they extended to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their iconic 2006 album. The recent show featured a revamped set design, new characters and costumes, and a fresh storyline set in what seemed to be a hospital or jail. During one intense moment in the performance, Gerard Way jumped on The Clerk’s bed and stabbed him multiple times.

The setlist for the concert included fan-favorite songs like “Welcome To The Black Parade,” “I’m Not Okay (I Promise),” and “Helena,” as well as new renditions and extended versions of some tracks. The energy and excitement of the show were undeniable, leaving fans eagerly anticipating what My Chemical Romance has in store for them next.
