Currents Just Announced a 2027 Tour — Cleveland and Detroit Dates Locked In
Connecticut metalcore band Currents is going big in 2027. The band announced today a North American headline tour in support of their upcoming album, Our Fates Lie in Tandem, due February 12, 2027 — their debut on Rise Records.
And the Midwest is well represented: the run hits Cleveland’s House of Blues on February 22 and Detroit’s Fillmore on February 24, with Chicago’s Riviera Theatre on February 27.
The month-long trek kicks off February 19 in Boston and wraps March 21 in Wallingford, Connecticut. Support comes from Vana and Dreamwake on every date, with Vanna opening the first three shows (Boston, Montreal, Toronto) and hardcore heavyweights Stick to Your Guns joining from February 22 through the end of the run.
It’s the band’s first full cycle behind a Rise Records release, following Friday’s album announcement and the lead single “Retributioner.” Currents are currently finishing a European run — onstage in Germany tomorrow night — before the album drops and the North American dates begin a week later.
Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, November 6 at 10 a.m. local time, and the artist presale is live now.
