Cleveland went BIG for Halloween weekend. Shooters Cleveland — the waterfront landmark on the West Bank of the Flats — booked a three-night concert series stacked with national talent, and Toledo was close enough to feel the bass.
It kicked off Thursday, Oct. 29, with R&B star Mariah the Scientist, the Atlanta native whose vulnerable songwriting made her one of the most recognizable voices in contemporary R&B. Then Friday night, Oct. 30, hip-hop took over: Quavo, founding member of Migos and one of the most recognizable figures in the industry, headlined the Flats.
Tonight, Saturday Oct. 31, the weekend closes with the Haunted Yacht Club. Electronic artist jigitz headlines a costume-friendly, high-energy dance night that nods to the venue’s nautical roots while closing out the October festivities in full club mode. All three nights start at 10 PM.
The run also doubles as a showcase for the new Shooters: under new ownership, the 1148 Main Ave. space underwent extensive renovations to boost its live entertainment capabilities and waterfront access — part of the West Bank’s ongoing nightlife resurgence.
Honest framing: the Mariah and Quavo sets already happened — tonight is your last shot. The Haunted Yacht Club finale starts at 10 PM, and ticket details vary by night, so verify through the venue’s official site. Reporting via Cleveland 13 News.
Toledo angle: it’s roughly a two-hour drive from Toledo to the Flats — an easy Halloween-night road trip if your costume still has legs.
