One of 2026’s fastest-rising stars is rolling through the region this weekend. sombr — the 21-year-old pop-rock breakout — plays Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena on Saturday, Nov 7, with Dove Cameron and Hannah Jadagu supporting, in what will be his first arena-scale Detroit show.

Toledo fans get a bonus: he plays Columbus’s Nationwide Arena the very next night, Sunday, Nov 8 — a back-to-back regional double within easy driving distance.

It’s been a rocket-ship year for the NYC native. His debut album “I Barely Know Her” dropped in August 2025 via Warner Records and his own SMB imprint, and singles “Back to Friends” and “Undressed” both cracked the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 and Global 200. He performed at the Grammy Awards and the BRITs 2026 and ranks among the most-streamed new artists of the year. The “You Are The Reason Tour” runs July 26 through November 23, 2026 across North America, with rotating openers including Interpol, Dove Cameron, Tom Odell, and The Hellp.

Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster. Learn more about the breakout in profiles from Dork and MusicTalkers.
