Ohio’s two marquee races are tightening as the night wears on. Democrat Amy Acton now leads Republican Vivek Ramaswamy 51% to 45% in the governor’s race, with about half of the state’s votes tallied, per the Columbus Dispatch’s live election coverage.

In the U.S. Senate special, Democrat Sherrod Brown holds a slim 48% to 47% lead over incumbent Republican Jon Husted — a dramatically closer contest than the double-digit margins both Democrats held earlier in the evening, when ToledoBuzz reported Acton at 59–39 and Brown at 56–40 with about 40% counted.

Ohio’s statewide Issue 3, which would put the state’s photo voter ID law into the state constitution, is projected to pass by a 65% to 35% margin with about half the votes tallied.

The Cincinnati Enquirer’s live updates are also tracking the races across Ohio.

All results are unofficial until the county boards of elections certify them.
