A 6-year-old Toledo girl is on a ventilator with two broken legs and bruised lungs after a hit-and-run crash in Toledo that pinned her under an ATV, her mother told 13abc (WTVG) in a report published Nov. 2.

The girl, Mykayla Arrington, was struck on Wednesday, October 28. Her mother, Crystal Carter, said doctors are concerned about her daughter’s brain function.

“At least come forward. This is someone’s child,” Carter said of the driver, in remarks reported by 13abc.

Carter has organized a fundraiser for her daughter’s recovery. No arrest has been announced. Toledo police are investigating, and the department is asking anyone with information or video to come forward. Tips can be called in to Toledo police or Crime Stoppers.
