Coachella 2027 may have just gotten its loudest confirmation yet. SZA appeared to confirm she’ll headline next year’s festival, posting a screenshot of TMZ’s headliner report to her alternate Instagram account — and in the same breath, telling fans a new album is on the way.

Her caption: “Headed to Tahiti to work this album some more. Mulling over big decisions. Saying yes when ur unprepared is crazy. Been doing it my whole career tho lol .. might as well.”

The TMZ report she shared names SZA alongside Dua Lipa and Tame Impala as the three headliners for the 2027 festival — April 9–11 and April 16–18 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. TMZ also says BTS and Rage Against the Machine were approached and passed.

Caveats: Coachella and Goldenvoice haven’t officially announced the lineup yet — and SZA’s caption reads as much as a confession as a confirmation. But reposting the report to her own account is about as close to a yes as it gets in October.

The album talk is the other half of the story: it would be her first since SOS dropped in 2022 — five years and counting. No title, no release date yet, but she’s apparently finishing it in Tahiti.
