Today is the last day to vote early in Ohio. Early in-person voting ends Sunday, Nov. 1 at 5 p.m. — today’s window is 1 to 5 p.m. There is NO early in-person voting on Monday, Nov. 2.

In Lucas County, the early voting center is at 3737 W. Sylvania Ave., Entrance C, in Toledo.

What to know: Bring a photo ID: Ohio requires a current, valid photo ID (Ohio driver’s license or state ID; must be unexpired unless you are active military) to vote early in person. For a refresher on the ID rules, see our Ohio Early Voting Photo ID Checklist.

Missed the window? Vote Tuesday, Nov. 3 — Election Day. Polls are open 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and anyone in line by 7:30 p.m. gets to vote.

Holding an absentee ballot? It must reach the Lucas County Board of Elections by 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to count — do not mail it now; hand-deliver it to the board.

What’s on the ballot Tuesday: the governor’s race (Amy Acton (D) vs. Vivek Ramaswamy (R)), the U.S. Senate race (Jon Husted (R) vs. Sherrod Brown (D)), the OH-9 congressional rematch between Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D) and Derek Merrin (R), Toledo’s Issue 16 police/fire income tax levy, the Toledo Public Schools 6.9-mill levy, and Springfield school district’s levy. For a closer look at the congressional race, read our Kaptur–Merrin rematch explainer.
