Dominic Fike just made album-making look easy. His third studio album, How to Quit Smoking, dropped Oct. 30 via Columbia Records — and he wrote, performed and produced the whole thing in real time while on his Comedy Tragedy Parody tour.
Yes, the entire thing. Fifteen songs, about 40 minutes, built on the road. Fike is calling it a “living album” — a record that grew up in front of crowds instead of behind studio walls.
The tracklist packs singles “Wallflower,” “Small Town” and “Pangea,” plus features from Danny Brown, Emma Ogier, Love Spells and Tay-K. MusicTimes has the full breakdown of how the tour-to-album experiment came together.
Fike has been on a roll since his 2018 track “Babydoll” went viral and smashed into the Hot 100’s top 10 after its February re-release. Between the music and his Euphoria run, he’s basically the blueprint for Gen-Z alt-pop right now.
The Needle Drop rounded up the feature announcements ahead of the drop, and Slant Magazine’s review is already live if you want the critic take.
Want to hear the living album live? Fike takes the Comedy Tragedy Parody tour across Europe and the UK this February and March 2027. Stream How to Quit Smoking everywhere now.
