The Blade Holiday Parade Returns to Downtown Toledo Next Saturday — Here’s Everything to Know
Downtown Toledo is getting ready for one of its brightest holiday traditions — and it is free, family-friendly, and just days away.
The 39th Annual Blade Holiday Parade steps off in downtown Toledo at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2026. Expect giant balloons, local marching bands, clowns, horses, colorful floats — and Santa Claus himself bringing up the holiday cheer.

A downtown Toledo tradition
Now in its 39th year, the parade is a beloved start to the holiday season in downtown Toledo — a perfect free weekend plan for families, friends, and anyone who loves a classic hometown celebration.
More than 60 organizations are taking part this year, filling the streets with music, color, and holiday spirit.
The parade route
The parade begins at N. Summit St. and Jefferson Ave., turns left onto Jackson Blvd., then continues to Huron St., finishing down Washington St.
Arrive early to grab a good spot along the route — and bring folding chairs and blankets so you can settle in and enjoy the show in comfort.
Street closures to know before you go
Street closures begin at 8 a.m. on parade day. Streets will reopen about 20 minutes after the parade concludes, so plan your parking and travel around the closures — and give yourself extra time getting downtown.
Grand Marshal: Bay View Yacht Club
This year’s Grand Marshal is the Bay View Yacht Club. The yacht club ordered 2,280 books for distribution along the route.
Unit participation requests are now closed after an overwhelming response. Questions can be directed to Associate Director of Events Heather Pacheco, The Blade.
Tips for families
Dress warm, bring folding chairs and blankets, and arrive early for the best viewing spots. Restrooms — including accessible restrooms — are located along the route.
Bundle up, bring the kids, and head downtown next Saturday morning. The balloons, the bands, the floats, and Santa are waiting.
