Ohio Emo Royalty: Hawthorne Heights’ 20th-Anniversary Tour Hits Detroit Nov. 22
Dayton, Ohio’s own Hawthorne Heights are bringing the emo nostalgia home to the Midwest — the band’s If Only You Were Lonely 20th Anniversary Tour stops at Saint Andrew’s Hall in Detroit on Sunday, Nov. 22.
The tour celebrates 20 years of the band’s landmark 2006 album If Only You Were Lonely, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and gave the world “Saying Sorry” and “This Is Who We Are.” The second North American leg kicked off Oct. 21 in Buffalo and rolls through Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Nashville, Atlanta, New Orleans, Indianapolis, Detroit and St. Louis, with special guests letlive. and Creeper on every date, Melodic Magazine reported.
The Detroit show is listed for 6:00 PM at Saint Andrew’s Hall, 431 E. Congress St., per Ticketmaster, with tickets starting around $48 on SeatGeek. VIP packages are available through the band’s official site.
For Toledo fans, it’s an easy road trip — roughly an hour up I-75 to relive the soundtrack of your MySpace era. The anniversary run wraps Nov. 25, and the band is also on the bill for Vans Warped Tour in Orlando Nov. 14–15.
