Vance Rally Time Confirmed: 11:30 a.m. Monday at Toledo Express — Doors, Tickets, What to Know
TOLEDO, Ohio — The waiting is over: Vice President JD Vance’s election-eve rally at Toledo Express Airport has a start time, and organizers want supporters registered ahead of Monday.
Vance takes the stage at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2, at the Grand Aire, Inc. FBO Terminal Hangar, 11341 W. Airport Service Road in Swanton, according to an update from the Fostoria Free Press citing the Republican Party’s official event listing and WLWT.
Doors details differ slightly by outlet: the GOP event listing shows a 9:30 a.m. doors time, while 13 Action News (WTVG) reports doors at 10 a.m. and Vance expected to speak around 1 p.m. Registration is required, and signups are capped at four tickets each. The official event listing is here.
It’s Vance’s third Ohio stop in recent weeks, after rallies in Sharonville and Lima, per earlier reports.
The races in focus: the governor’s race (Vivek Ramaswamy vs. Amy Acton), the U.S. Senate race (Jon Husted vs. Sherrod Brown), and Ohio’s 9th District (Derek Merrin vs. Marcy Kaptur). Democrats are countering with “Soles to the Polls” GOTV celebrations across the state. Ohio polls are open 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
What’s new: ToledoBuzz first reported the rally Thursday, when the time and attendance details had not been announced. The 11:30 a.m. start, doors times, and ticket requirement are all new — and with Election Day two days out, the stakes pieces are here (Kaptur-Merrin) and here (the Senate money war).
