A head-on collision Monday on U.S. Route 20 near Stony Ridge in Wood County, Ohio, sent four people — including two young children — to Toledo-area hospitals with serious injuries, troopers from the Bowling Green Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

Nora R. Logan, 53, of Moatsville, West Virginia, was driving westbound when her vehicle went left of center and struck an eastbound vehicle driven by Melvin L. Kromenacker, 75, of Toledo.

Logan was flown by ProMedica Air to Toledo Hospital along with a 10-year-old passenger, Terrance Salvador. Six-year-old Alayna Salvador and Kromenacker were transported by ambulance to St. Vincent’s Mercy Medical Center.

Lake Township EMS, Lake Township Police, the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, and Troy Township EMS and Fire assisted at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by the Bowling Green Post.
