“Ali G: Who Iz I?” — Sacha Baron Cohen’s feature directorial debut, co-starring Morgana Robinson — opened Oct 23 in only about 125 theaters for one weekend, then hit Prime Video on Oct 28, five days later.
Despite the theatrical flop, SlashFilm reports it has become one of Prime Video’s biggest streaming hits. Amazon MGM Studios released no box office figures.
It’s the first big-screen Ali G outing since “Ali G Indahouse” (2002) — 24 years later. Runtime: 89 minutes. Cohen announced the streaming date via Ali G’s official Instagram. MovieWeb has the streaming date details.
