Céline Dion Just Crushed a Record U2 Held — $125.5 Million in 16 Shows
Céline Dion is back — and she’s making history doing it. People reports, citing Billboard Boxscore figures released Oct. 29, that Dion grossed $125.5 million and sold 539,000 tickets across 16 shows at Paris’ Plenitude Arena (Sept. 12–Oct. 17).
The run — her first full-length concerts in six years following treatment for stiff-person syndrome — averaged $7.8 million per show, the highest-grossing residency on a per-show basis ever, topping U2’s $6.1 million-per-night Sphere record. Her nightly attendance average of 33,700 nearly doubled Billy Joel’s previous record.
Dion isn’t done: she returns to Paris for 10 more shows May 8–29, 2027.
