Your weekend plans just wrote themselves. The sixth annual Fallen Timbers Arts Festival takes over Timbers Town Center in Maumee this Saturday and Sunday — and it’s built for holiday shoppers, wine lovers and anyone who likes their art with a food truck on the side.

The festival runs Saturday, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 8, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 3100 Main Street, Suite 455 in Timbers Town Center (formerly The Shops at Fallen Timbers), off the Jerome/Stitt exit on U.S. 24.

Thirty-five local artists will show photography, jewelry, glass, paper, cloth and canvas — including Sarah Vanni, Christine Deemer and Joan Hetzner — with most pieces priced between $50 and $150. If your holiday gift list needs something that isn’t from a big-box store, this is the room.

There’s plenty beyond the booths. Wine tasting runs all weekend, with 25 wines in the silent auction and three wine experts on hand. Food trucks rotate through both days — 107 Bakehouse and WannaMake’Er on Saturday, Sausy Bites and Naan Stop Kebap on Sunday — plus Copper Press Roastery coffee both days. The silent auction takes bids Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Proceeds support the Anthony Wayne Area Arts Commission’s programs, with 10 percent going to Bittersweet Farms’ art program. Learn more about the artists at awaac.org.

It’s an indoor show, so the weather doesn’t matter — just show up hungry, bring a gift list, and leave with something made by a neighbor.
