The 2000s throwback night Toledo was eyeing in Columbus is off. Gym Class Heroes and Lupe Fiasco’s “Back To Basics Tour” stop at KEMBA Live! in Columbus — scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. — has been cancelled, according to the venue’s official ticket page.

The venue’s notice is short and to the point: “This show has been cancelled. All tickets purchased on AXS.com will be automatically refunded by November 30. All other tickets can be returned to original point of purchase for full refunds.”

That means if you bought through AXS, you don’t need to do anything — your refund is automatic, landing by Nov. 30. If you bought your tickets anywhere else, take them back to your original point of purchase for a full refund.

This is the second twist for a show that already had a complicated history. It was originally scheduled for Sept. 26 before being rescheduled to Nov. 11, with originally purchased tickets to be honored. Now it is cancelled outright. The venue has given no reason for the cancellation.

One warning for anyone still seeing the show listed: the Step Out Columbus event listing still shows the Nov. 11 date as happening, with no mention of the cancellation. That listing is stale — trust the venue’s own page instead.

For Toledo fans, the drive down to Columbus is off the calendar, at least for this one. It’s a disappointing end for a bill that paired two acts who defined the late-2000s sound: Grammy winner Lupe Fiasco (“Daydreamin'”) and Gym Class Heroes, the hip-hop-meets-pop-punk crew behind “Cupid’s Chokehold” and “Stereo Hearts.” If you were planning the trip, check your refund now — AXS buyers by Nov. 30, everyone else through their original point of purchase.
