Toledo police say two men are at large after a brutal stabbing on the city’s west side, and officers are asking for the public’s help finding them.

A man was slashed across his throat during the attack, and an elderly man in a wheelchair was kicked in the head multiple times, according to a 13 Action News video report published Oct. 29. Toledo police confirmed the suspects had not been caught and remain at large.

The attack unfolded on Toledo’s west side. Few additional details have been released, and police have not said what led up to the violence. The condition of the victims was not immediately available.

Police are asking anyone with information to come forward. Anonymous tips can be given to Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.

The assault comes amid a stretch of violent-crime headlines in Toledo this week, including an overnight shooting in north Toledo that left a man hospitalized, covered earlier today on ToledoBuzz. Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz and incoming Police Chief Kevin Braun are expected to present the city’s third-quarter crime statistics on Monday.

This story will be updated as police release more information.
