A 50-year-old Toledo man is jailed on rape and burglary charges after police say he forced his way into a woman’s home through a basement window late last week.
Richard Ulch was arrested Friday, Oct. 23, and charged with two counts of rape and one count of aggravated burglary, according to Toledo police affidavits and court records first reported by 13abc and WTOL 11.
Investigators say Ulch broke into the woman’s home late Thursday night and sexually assaulted her, the Fostoria Free Press reported, citing the police affidavits.
The charges are allegations; Ulch is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court. This story will be updated as court proceedings continue.
