Hip-hop legend Kool Keith is in Toledo TONIGHT — and he’s not just performing, he’s hosting the wildest costume party of the season. Toledo’s Share Winery is throwing an Album Cover Party from 5 to 10 PM, and the theme is genius: pick your favorite album cover and BECOME it. The outfit, the pose, the energy. Tonight, you are not just attending a party. You are the art.

Here’s how it works: show up dressed as an iconic album cover, then step up to the mic and channel your inner superstar — sing the single, lip sync your favorite song, belt out a track by that artist. Professional photographers will capture every look, and the top three covers go to a social-media vote, with the winner taking home a prize worthy of a headliner.

The night opens with live sax from Arthur Bishop from 5 to 7 PM, setting the mood before the main event kicks into full gear. Food and wine will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

The details: tonight, Oct 31, 5–10 PM at Toledo’s Share, 23 N. Huron St. in downtown Toledo. Members get in FREE; non-members pay $10. It’s 21+, album-cover attire is required, and a password to enter will be emailed before the event — so grab tickets early on Eventbrite.

This is one of several can’t-miss stops on Halloween night in Toledo — see our full roundup, Halloween Tonight in Toledo: Cirque, Haunts & Parties, for the complete lineup. But honestly? A hip-hop pioneer from the Ultramagnetic MCs hosting a party where YOU are the album cover? That’s the one people will be talking about Monday.
