The wait is over, hockey fans. After seven straight road games to open the season, the Toledo Walleye are finally coming home to the Huntington Center this Saturday, November 7 — and they’re bringing a rivalry game with them.

Puck drop is set for 7:15 p.m. against the Fort Wayne Komets, the same team that edged Toledo 2-1 in the Halloween matinee back on October 31. The Walleye get their shot at revenge in front of the home crowd to kick off the home slate.

The Fish arrive at 3-2-0-0, fourth in the ECHL Central Division, after a weekend that showed what this team is about. Friday’s 3-2 overtime win at Kalamazoo saw Toledo fire a staggering 54 shots on goal — the third-highest single-game total in franchise history. Nolan Moyle scored the Walleye’s only goal against Fort Wayne on Saturday, and defenseman Marcus Crawford has two points against the Komets this season.

Tickets are available now at toledowalleye.com or by calling 419-725-9255.
