TOLEDO — Break out the pajamas. Culture Clash Records is throwing a Heated Rivalry slumber party tonight, and it’s exactly as unserious — and as fun — as it sounds.

The sleepover-themed celebration for fans of the hit hockey-romance series runs Friday, Nov. 6, from 7 to 11 p.m. at Culture Clash Records, 912 Monroe St. in downtown Toledo. It’s an adults-only event held ahead of the Toledo Lucas County Public Library’s Romance-Con on Saturday, Nov. 7.

The night packs in trivia, games, live music from local band Diet Smiles, a dance party, fan-led PowerPoint presentations, and a screening of season one DVD bloopers. Guests are encouraged to show up in pajamas or cosplay, and local vendors will be selling handmade merchandise.

Specialty drinks come from The Switchboard, and the Toledo Luncheonette food truck will be on site with food for purchase.

Tickets are $20, with a portion of proceeds supporting direct mutual aid for trans Toledoans.

The party is a warm-up for Romance-Con, the library’s third annual romance convention, which is free and takes place Saturday, Nov. 7, headlined by authors Adriana Herrera and Ali Hazelwood. No ticket is required.

Full event details are on Destination Toledo.
