Miranda Lambert’s ‘Songline’ Album Is Out Today — and the Film Hits Prime Video Next Week
Miranda Lambert Songline is out today — and Toledo country fans, this one is made for a proper listen.
Amazon Music announced the Songline album, released today, Friday, Nov. 6, 2026 — and it is not just another new record. It is Lambert, up close, doing what she does best: telling the stories behind the songs.
The album collects performances from Miranda Lambert: Songline Live, recorded Oct. 1 at The Truth in Nashville, which premiered Oct. 7 on Amazon Music. If you caught the special, you already know the vibe. If you did not, the album is your catch-up — intimate performances, stripped back enough to hear every word, every crack, every choice.
It is all about the songwriting
That is the whole point of Songline. The series focuses on songwriting — intimate performances plus conversations about the stories and creative processes behind the songs. No big spectacle for spectacle’s sake. Just Lambert, the music, and the why behind it.
And there is more coming. The companion film adds exclusive interviews in which Lambert discusses her songs and career, and the Songline film streams on Amazon Prime Video starting Nov. 13. Mark it, set a reminder, tell your group chat — next Friday is movie night.
So, Toledo: stream the album today on Amazon Music, soak in the Nashville performances, and get ready for the film next week. This is a two-part treat, and part one is already here.
Lambert has had a big run of ToledoBuzz coverage lately for a different reason — her CMA Awards performance slot and her Thanksgiving halftime show — but this is a separate new release, and it deserves its own moment.
