Johnson died on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2026, about a week after she suffered a “heart event” on Oct. 27, according to Entertainment Weekly. She was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital, where doctors diagnosed a heart aneurysm condition.

The news was reported by Entertainment Weekly, citing TMZ and Johnson’s niece, Rhonda Scott. Scott shared the family’s account of Johnson’s final days, including the emergency hospitalization that followed the Oct. 27 episode and the care she received at Cedars-Sinai in the days before her death.

According to the report, Johnson remained hospitalized after the Oct. 27 heart event as doctors treated the aneurysm condition. She died about a week later, on Nov. 5, in Los Angeles.

Johnson, a native of Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, worked as a flight attendant before she entered pageantry and acting. She was a former Miss Pennsylvania USA, and she launched her acting career in the late 1990s.

She appeared in the 2000 comedy Dude, Where’s My Car? as “Jumpsuit Chick #5,” a small but memorable role in the film’s ensemble. On television, her credits included Beverly Hills, 90210, V.I.P., and Wanda at Large.

Those roles placed Johnson in two of the most recognizable areas of turn-of-the-century popular culture: the teen drama that defined 1990s television and the early-2000s comedies that became fixtures of the era. Her work across film and television reflected a career built steadily through guest appearances and supporting parts.

Johnson’s credits also reflected the breadth of the period in which she worked, moving between film and television as she built a résumé that included both a hit teen drama and a studio comedy released at the start of a new decade.

Beyond acting, Johnson later turned to beauty and skincare. In 2011, she founded SkinGlow by Kimmarie, a skincare line she built under her own name.

Johnson is survived by her son, Cameron Nino, who was born in 2003. No further details about memorial arrangements were immediately available.
