Wiz Khalifa is back with new music — and his next album is just eight days away.

The Pittsburgh rapper dropped a new single, “The Calm,” today, Thursday, Nov. 5, as the preview for his upcoming album Cool, which arrives Nov. 13 through 10K Projects.

“The Calm” was co-written by Wiz with E. Dan, Kenneth Wright, Edward Murray, Mackenzie Stotts and Jermal J Harper. The album was made with his longtime Pittsburgh collaborators E. Dan, I.D Labs, Sledgren, Ricky P, Big Jerm and Kenny Wright.

A new label home

Cool comes after Wiz recently signed with 10K Projects, returning him to the Warner Music Group family.

The Ohio connection

Toledo readers will remember Wiz from this summer in Cleveland: he co-headlined MGK Day in Cleveland (Aug. 7–8, 2026) with Machine Gun Kelly at North Coast Yard, after touring together all summer on MGK’s Lost Americana North American Tour. The pair also released a nine-track collaborative mixtape, “blog era boyz.”

With a new single out today and Cool landing Nov. 13, Wiz’s fall rollout is officially underway.
