Officers executed three search warrants. At 438 N. Wood St. in Fremont they recovered about 640 grams of cocaine, U.S. currency and a loaded Glock. Sandusky County Prosecutor Beth Tischler: “That’s almost two-thirds of kilo of cocaine. That’s a lot.”

Christopher Henderson Jr. was arrested on first-degree felony trafficking and possession charges. Bond was set at $200,000 and was posted within hours; he was released.

The operation was carried out by the Sandusky County Drug Task Force, working with DEA agents, the Sandusky County Sheriff’s Office and Fremont Police. A third address, 519 S. Front St., was also searched; nothing was recovered there. The cases go to the Sandusky County Prosecutor and the U.S. Attorney for grand jury consideration.

Henderson faces charges only; the case is pending grand jury consideration, and he is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
