Jeremy London wants everyone to take a breath: he is not homeless, he is not destitute — and he has a condo in Florida.

The 7th Heaven star set the record straight late Friday night after a deleted post from Thursday sent fans into a panic. In that post, the actor — who has been working at a tree service business in Pennsylvania — wrote that his boss was “going through some kind of mental crisis” and that he “may be losing his job and home.” He asked followers to let him know about potential work and housing, adding, “I’m not ok.”

By Friday night, London was pushing back on the coverage. “Guys… I have a condo in Florida. People mag out here making me look homeless ??” he posted on X. He explained he had been shocked by his boss’s behavior and didn’t want to leave Pennsylvania because he had fallen in love with it — not because he had nowhere to go.

Responding to an E! News report about the story, he wrote: “I promise you this was blown out of proportion. I have a condo in Florida. I just didn’t want to leave PA because I fell in love with it. I was definitely sad and in shock. But I’m not destitute. Apologies for confusing wording in the moment.” When one follower said the original post “sounded desperate,” London owned it: “I was sad. My wording sucked. I own that. Lesson learned.”

He also thanked the people who reached out. “You guys are amazing. Trust me… I’m doing GREAT!” he wrote, saying the situation could end up being a blessing — getting him back to his son and his art. He said he already has “other potential job prospects,” is “shooting a movie soon,” and will let his attorneys handle the rest.

London, born Nov. 7, 1972, turns 54 today. He is best known as Chandler Hampton on 7th Heaven, Griffin on Party of Five, and T.S. Quint in Kevin Smith’s 1995 cult classic Mallrats, with earlier work on I’ll Fly Away and a supporting role in Gods and Generals. His latest credit is in Amityville: Descendants of Darkness, and his IMDb lists upcoming projects including Twilight of the Mallrats and Crypto Heads 2. His identical twin brother, Jason London, is also an actor.
