The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives divorce just went from quiet court filing to very public — and very messy.

Jen Affleck filed for divorce from her husband Zac Affleck on Tuesday, Nov. 3, in Utah County District Court, submitting a parenting plan alongside the filing after seven years of marriage. The couple shares three children — Nora, 4, Lucas, 3, and Penelope, 1 — and Jen is currently pregnant with their fourth.

Zac broke his silence on Thursday, posting a TikTok saying he learned she had filed from the news, that he had “begged her to stay,” and that he would remain her “biggest fan.” He said Jen had told him about a year earlier, after her Dancing with the Stars run in late 2025, that she was unhappy and wanted a divorce.

Jen’s response came in the form of receipts. She posted a clip from 2022, filmed two weeks after she gave birth, in which Zac criticizes her postpartum body — “Your tits are sagging all over… You don’t want to post that, baby” — captioned “He was never my biggest supporter.” She followed it with a second video of a tense argument over a dirty towel in the bathroom.

Zac responded in the comments that the clip was from 2022 and his remarks were “obviously horrible and should have never been said.” On Friday, he posted a montage of happier clips of the two of them together, captioned “Looking back at these clips hurts so much. I married my dream girl, and I messed it up,” and shared an official statement with PEOPLE.

Meanwhile, the two parents separately celebrated their eldest child’s birthday this week — a reminder that, behind the TikToks, there are four kids at the center of this split.
