A judge granted a delay Monday in the case of two teenagers charged in the dragging death of a teen during an alleged robbery last year — but set a January trial date and warned there will be no further postponements.

The two defendants are charged in the 2025 case in which a teenager was dragged by a car during an alleged robbery and later died from his injuries.

The court granted the delay requested Monday, then set the January trial date and made clear the case will move forward without additional delays.

Because the defendants are minors, their names are not being published.
