Heart-stopping video released by the Ohio State Highway Patrol shows a suspected drug-impaired driver veering off a Toledo-area road and through a front lawn on Saturday — nearly plowing into troopers who were conducting a field sobriety test on an entirely different driver.
The Toledo Post troopers were mid-test when the second vehicle came barreling toward them. Nobody was hurt, and both drivers were arrested for OVI, according to First for Autos.
Watch the local TV report:
The patrol says troopers have arrested 12,540 impaired drivers so far in 2026 — including 2,968 drug-impaired drivers.
