Ozzfest is coming back.

Sharon Osbourne is curating a revival of the legendary metal festival with three dates in 2027: Milton Keynes, England on July 10; San Bernardino, California on September 11; and Mexico City on September 18. No acts have been named yet.

The festival will lean heavily on Ozzy Osbourne’s memory — a tribute to the Prince of Darkness and the event he built into one of heavy music’s defining institutions. The open question is whether the first lineup announcement honors the original mix of metal and punk-adjacent heavy music, or plays it safe with legacy names.

For a generation of metal fans who grew up on Ozzfest lineups, the return of the festival is one of the biggest live-music announcements of the year — and the San Bernardino date puts it within reach of the U.S. festival circuit’s biggest crowds.
