Bon Jovi Is Heading Back to Japan for the First Time in 9 Years — Two Tokyo Dome Nights
Pack your bags — the Forever Tour just went international. Bon Jovi announced Friday that he’s bringing his comeback to Japan for the first time in nine years, with two nights at the legendary Tokyo Dome this February.

Per the announcement (via Udo Artists), the band plays Tokyo Dome on Thursday, February 25, 2027 (doors 5:30 PM, show 7:00 PM JST) and Saturday, February 27 (doors 3:30 PM, show 5:00 PM JST). These are the band’s first concerts in Japan since November 2018, when the This House Is Not For Sale tour wrapped up there. For perspective, Japan was Bon Jovi territory back when most of us were memorizing lyrics off cassette: the band first played the Tokyo Dome on New Year’s Eve 1988.
When Tickets Go On Sale
The VIP package lottery and Udo Premium Members presale start at noon Saturday, Oct 31 (JST) — that’s today. The general sale opens Saturday, Nov 28. The shows are presented by J-WAVE, TOKYO FM and BAYFM78 with Universal Music cooperation.
Ticket tiers (tax included): Gold ¥80,000, Silver ¥60,000, Balcony ¥30,000, S ¥24,000, A ¥17,000, B ¥10,000.
The Comeback Tour Keeps Growing
Consider this the latest chapter of rock’s most unlikely comeback. Four years off the road after Jon Bon Jovi’s vocal cord surgery, the Forever Tour roared back with nine sold-out Madison Square Garden nights in July 2026, then stormed through Edinburgh, Dublin and three Wembley nights. The 2027 itinerary now also includes Melbourne, Sydney, BST Hyde Park London, MetLife Stadium, Soldier Field, Gillette Stadium and Toronto.
Toledo fans: no Tokyo trip needed — your closest shot is still Chicago, and we broke down the whole 2027 stadium comeback right here yesterday.
Jon called the tour “an incredible celebration of the music and the fans who have been with us all these years.” Nine years is a long time to wait, Japan. Say it with us: “Wooooah, we’re halfway theeeeere…”
